We offer a range of services to help combat and dispel the objectification of human beings.

Please report any misrepresentation of human beings:

if a human is shown to do anything which they would not wish to do in front of one or more other humans with access to the media/performance in which they are portrayed

We take objectification very seriously.

It is important to distinguish the nature of objectification in the context of the media:

sexual objectification involves the portrayal of an individual as someone other than themselves, where as performance/art involves the portrayal of a character (someone other than themselves) by an individual

The United States on human rights

Objectification - by definition - constitutes obscenity, and as such is not protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. We represent freedom of speech, not the integration of society and artificial constructs, nor the freedom to redefine words out of existence, nor the freedom to redefine others into the Constitution:

• Freedom of speech is not the same as freedom of intentional misrepresentation (slavery)
• All citizens have the right to be protected from abuse, regardless of age, financial, or mental state

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Australia on human rights

The Australian Constitution clearly accepts a standard of morality within its framework of governance by law.

Moral authority, by definition, does not change over time. Therefore any law which deviates from the standard of morality as accepted by those responsible for the construction and approval of the constitution is unconstitutional.

The legalisation of Brothels in Australia is unconstitutional.

The selling of another person's body is a violation of their constitutational rights.

France on human rights

France bans prostitution because it undervalues women (including the so called "Moulin Rouge")?

Just Burqas for now... but add to this initiative rationality, consistency, and integrity, and who knows what might happen.

A number of critical issues have been identified through both external scientific research and internal cross analysis relating to the sexual objectification of members of our society. We do not adhere to models of social freedom where human rights and dignity are secured by our ability to earn a living, but see the commercial misrepresentation of human beings as direct and unequivocal exploitation of their socio-economic and psychological needs. Despite the problems associated with the tolerance of primary objectification (generally of females) being reason enough to provide support, secondary objectification has frequently been identified as harmful - involving most notably the process of self-objectification as product of the acceptance of false requirements and hopes amidst the glorified objectification of others (objectification theory).

It has been made clear by the Australian government that such a relationship exists between the false representation of members of our society and the susceptibility to violence of those of the same sex (including but not limited to physical abuse). We argue that the effects of objectification are much more widespread than the cumulative cases of abuse being targeted to date by the federal and state governments, and that without clear information being provided to the public regarding the importance of the subjective nature of human beings to counter their misrepresentation through their sexual objectification, problems will continue - with scenarios of escalation not being unconsidered.

Subjectify operates on independent philosophical grounds with adherence to both physicalism and the non-reducibility of mental states, thereby respecting both scientific research regarding objectification (through deterministic socio-psychological models) and the personal requirements of the individual (belief in absolute rights and dignity with concepts of self-willingness and self-appreciation not being denied).
